Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced AEM Platform Engineer to lead development and operations for the enterprise Adobe Experience Manager suite.
You will partner with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrations, cloud migrations, and automation, ensuring reliable, secure digital experiences across sites and assets. Strong front-end and backend capabilities are required.
Qualifications
- Extensive software development experience (typically 8+ years with a Bachelor’s or 5+ year of experience with Master’s degree in computer science or related field)
- Experience coding HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript and Web components (typically 3+ years)
- Proven experience in AEM Platform Operations & Cloud Service environment
- Leads incident resolution, root cause analysis, and service restoration efforts for critical business applications
- Applies platform monitoring, observability, and automation techniques to improve service reliability
- Possesses strong knowledge of AEM architecture, Dispatcher/CDN configurations, cloud deployments, and enterprise integrations
- Collaborates across product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to ensure successful platform operations
- Driving operational best practices, governance, change management, and service excellence initiatives
- Understanding of front-end state management libraries (redux)
- Must demonstrate solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
- Passion for technology and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or Electrical engineering or related field
