Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent retail/eCommerce development experience.
• Retail eCommerce experience is required.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Node.js and React.
• Experience with SFCC, Magento, Hybris, BigCommerce or Shopify.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, GraphQL integrations and SEO/merchandising.

Responsibilities

Senior eCommerce Front-End Developer

BravoTECH is seeking a Senior eCommerce Front-End Developer to develop and enhance eCommerce and omnichannel platforms supporting a fast-growing retail business. This role focuses on new technology implementations, feature development, UI/UX enhancements, and ongoing application support to deliver seamless digital shopping experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideal candidate will be an eCommerce Front-End Lead Developer.
• Must have ability to mentor and coach junior developers.
• Partner with business, technology, and UX teams to design, build, and optimize websites, mobile applications, and digital platforms.
• Develop responsive, accessible, high-performing user experiences aligned with ADA Title III requirements and industry accessibility standards.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code and collaborate with front-end, back-end, QA, and product teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
• Improve website speed, performance, stability, and scalability.
• Integrate eCommerce platforms with order management (OMS), customer relationship management (CRM), customer data platforms (CDP), inventory, warehouse management (WMS), and analytics tools such as Adobe.
• Support omnichannel capabilities, including buy online, pick up in store (BOPIS), local delivery, and ship-from-store.
• Troubleshoot application issues, maintain existing functionality, and contribute to technical best practices and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant retail/eCommerce development experience.
• Must have retail Ecommerce experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Node.js, and React experience in object-oriented programming and responsive web design.
• Experience developing and maintaining eCommerce websites and applications using either Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Magento, Hybris, BigCommerce, or Shopify.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, and GraphQL integrations, payment gateways, tax software, site search, search engine optimization (SEO), and merchandising operations.
• Proficiency with Git, GitFlow, and Bitbucket, along with Agile/SDLC tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment.
