Job summary

Verdantas is seeking an Ecoengineer to join our hybrid team in West Sacramento, CA, delivering habitat restoration designs across rivers, wetlands, and estuarine systems. You will contribute through feasibility, concept development, and 100% design, integrating geomorphic and hydraulic understanding with engineering practice.

Requires a Civil/Environmental background, 5–7 years of design experience, and proficiency with Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic tools.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of applied design and drafting experience.
• Proficiency with AutoDesk Civil 3D and site grading design.
• Experience supporting the full project lifecycle from feasibility to 100% design.
• Experience providing construction documents, including drawings and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine site grading and restoration designs using Civil 3D and related tools.
• Produce construction-ready deliverables (plans, specs, cost estimates, basis of design).
• Support hydrologic, hydraulic, and geomorphic analyses to inform design development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver restoration solutions in riverine, wetland, estuarine environments.
