Job summary

Verdantas is looking for an Ecoengineer to join their team in West Sacramento, CA. This hybrid position is critical for delivering innovative habitat restoration projects across rivers, wetlands, and estuarine systems. The ideal candidate will support design across the project lifecycle, from feasibility to final design.

Key responsibilities include developing site grading designs, producing deliverables, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5-7 years of experience in design and analysis are required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of applied design and drafting experience.
• Experience supporting the full project lifecycle from feasibility and concept design through 100% design.
• Proficiency with AutoDesk Civil 3D and site grading design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine site grading and restoration designs.
• Produce construction-ready deliverables, including plans and specifications.
• Support hydrologic, hydraulic, and geomorphic analyses.
