Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team seeks a Senior Engineer to deliver Enterprise Content Management solutions and support the New Frontier Strategy. You will design, build, deploy, and support critical platforms, collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable digital experiences for customers worldwide.

You will lead initiatives around IBM CP4BA, Datacap, and FileNet, driving architecture decisions and ensuring robust, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience building and maintaining systems/software for large-scale technology operations in Windows, Linux, or container infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products or business applications.
• Strong technical background with hands-on system architecture experience.
• Track record of successfully managing shared infrastructure with multiple stakeholders across countries.
• Strong experience with ECM products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and drive technology initiatives advancing the engineering foundation across people, processes, and tech.
• Participate in architecture selection, software design, and operations at the solution level.
• Identify appropriate technology stacks per enterprise standards and translate into solid designs.
• Drive technology initiatives end-to-end across multiple layers of technology.
• Continuously learn, experiment, and apply cutting-edge tech and software paradigms.
