Job summary

UCLA Health invites experienced Echocardiographic Technicians to join our Cardiac Imaging team in Beverly Hills. You will perform 2D, M-mode, and Doppler studies, including Stress echocardiogram and Transesophageal echo readings, and notify physicians of urgent findings.

Applicants must graduate from a Cardiac Echocardiography Technology program, hold ARDMS AE RDCS, and BCLS, with a minimum of three years of direct cardiac sonography experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Cardiac Echocardiography Technology program.
• ARDMS AE RDCS certification.
• BCLS certification.
• Minimum of three years of direct cardiac sonography experience.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D, M-mode, and Doppler studies including stress echocardiogram and transesophageal echo readings.
• Notify Cardiac Imaging Physicians for urgent, stat and pre-operative echo readings.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of echo studies.
• Prepare and maintain records pertinent to echo studies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by UCLA Cardiac Imaging Physicians, Manager and Supervisor.
