Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Band 7 echocardiographer to join the Cardio-Respiratory department. The post involves independent performance and reporting of adult echocardiograms to BSE standards, with rotation across sites to maintain a broad skill set.

Applicants should have experience with transthoracic echocardiography and be prepared to participate in weekend/evening duties within a 08:00–20:00 service pattern.

Qualifications

• Fully independent practitioner performing adult echocardiograms to BSE standards.
• Experience with bubble/contrast echo and valve surveillance clinics desirable but not essential.
• Proficient at independently performing high quality transthoracic echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report transthoracic echocardiography to BSE standards.
• Independently interpret results and escalate urgent findings.
• Support advanced imaging techniques such as contrast and bubble studies.
