Job summary

NHS Jobs in London seeks an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our Echo team. You will perform and independently report adult transthoracic echocardiograms across multiple London clinics, ensuring equipment quality and timely reporting.

Based at a single clinic each day, you will support scheduling and coordinate with hospitals and GP practices. Applicants must hold BSE accreditation (or equivalent) and demonstrate strong knowledge of data protection, information governance, and Caldicott

Qualifications

• Skilled in performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Hold BSE accreditation (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance, and Caldicott Principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform and independently report adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and quality checked.
• Submit clear reports and archive study images.
• Liaise with local hospitals and GP practices for urgent referrals.
• Support smooth patient scheduling and maintain patient data accuracy.
