Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida, is seeking a leader to manage the daily operations of the Adult Echocardiography service line, aligning with program and organizational objectives.

You will coordinate patient care, oversee staffing, train staff, and ensure equipment performance while advancing QA/QI initiatives and serving as a mentor for sonographers, fellows, and physicians.

Qualifications

• Accredited Ultrasound Technologist program completion is required.
• RDCS or RCS certification by ARDMS/CCI is preferred or required.
• Five years of adult imaging experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care with the healthcare team to ensure effective outcomes.
• Oversees inventory and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies.
• Determines, coordinates, and manages daily staffing assignments and levels.
• Trains, coaches, and evaluates assigned staff on performance expectations.
• Assists with departmental QA/QI and other program initiatives.
• Performs advanced diagnostic imaging and serves as trainer for staff.
