Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a Senior Echocardiographer to perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiograms, and Doppler studies. The role supports Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP/Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside patient care.

The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience; education options include Bachelor's or Associate degrees in Cardiovascular Technology or a High School Diploma with Echo tech experience accepted in lieu of formal education.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience required.
• Required Education: Bachelor's Level Degree, Associate's Level Degree – CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma.
• Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes.
• Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.

Overview: Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Senior Echocardiographer. The role includes performing Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. The Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU, and will also work with patients at the bedside.

Compensation

The base pay range for full-time employment is $48.06 - $73.51 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
