Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an experienced ECAD Designer to support new product development and existing designs in Dallas, TX. The role covers schematic capture, PCB layout, ECAD library management, and manufacturing documentation for high-reliability applications.

The candidate will work across electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams, migrate designs to Altium, and help ensure DFM/DFT compliance while producing complete ECAD packages for production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ECAD/PCB design experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience with Altium Designer, PADS, and OrCAD Capture.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain electronic schematics using OrCAD Capture and Altium Designer.
• Design multilayer PCBs for analog, digital, mixed-signal, embedded, and power-electronics applications.
• Migrate legacy PADS/OrCAD designs into Altium and ensure manufacturability.
• Generate complete manufacturing documentation (Gerber/ODB++, fabrication and assembly drawings, drill files, BOMs).
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams throughout the design and release process.
• Support prototype, validation, and production release; coordinate with vendors for issues.
