TEEMA Group is seeking an experienced PCB Designer in Dallas to develop new electronic products and support ongoing designs. You will create schematics, PCB layouts, manage ECAD libraries, and prepare manufacturing docs.

You’ll collaborate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineers to move designs from concept through prototype and into production.

Formación

• 5+ years of ECAD design experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with OrCAD Capture, Altium Designer, and PADS.
• Knowledge of IPC standards, DFM/ DFA/ DFT.
• Ability to create complete manufacturing release packages.

Responsabilidades

• Create and update schematics using OrCAD Capture and Altium Designer.
• Design complex multilayer PCBs for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power apps.
• Maintain ECAD libraries and BOMs.
• Develop stackups with SI, EMI/EMC, thermal considerations and manufacturability.
• Produce manufacturing documentation (Gerber/ODB++ files, drawings).
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers for enclosure fit and connector alignment.
• Support prototypes, validation, and production releases.

Our client is looking for an experienced PCB Designer to help develop new electronic products and support existing designs. In this role, you’ll create schematics, design PCB layouts, manage ECAD libraries, and prepare manufacturing documentation.

You’ll work closely with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineers to take products from design through prototype, validation, and production.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create and update electronic schematics using OrCAD Capture and Altium Designer.
• Design complex multilayer PCBs for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power applications.
• Convert legacy PADS and OrCAD designs into Altium Designer.
• Create and maintain ECAD libraries, including symbols, footprints, 3D models, and component data.
• Develop PCB stackups with consideration for signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal performance, and manufacturability.
• Perform electrical rule checks (ERC) and design rule checks (DRC).
• Create manufacturing documentation, including Gerber/ODB++ files, fabrication and assembly drawings, drill files, pick-and-place files, and BOMs.
• Work with electrical engineers on component selection, schematics, and PCB layout.
• Partner with mechanical engineers to ensure proper enclosure fit and connector alignment.
• Support prototypes, engineering validation, debugging, and production releases.
• Work with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Participate in engineering change orders and continuous product improvements.

What You Must Have

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of ECAD design experience.
• Strong experience with:
• OrCAD Capture
• PADS Professional / PADS Layout
• Experience with both schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience with mixed-signal, precision analog, embedded digital, high-current, or power electronics designs.
• Understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and DFM, DFA, and DFT principles.
• Ability to create complete manufacturing release packages.
