Zusammenfassung

Doble-Megger seeks an experienced ECAD Designer to support the development of new electronic products and sustain existing designs. You will handle schematic capture, PCB layout, ECAD library management, and manufacturing documentation while collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

Proficiency with OrCAD Capture, PADS, and Altium Designer is required. You will migrate legacy designs to Altium and contribute to production release packages.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of ECAD design experience.
• Strong experience with OrCAD Capture, PADS Professional, PADS Layout and Altium Designer.
• Experience designing 4- to 20-layer PCBs for mixed-signal and power electronics.

Aufgaben

• Create electronic schematics using OrCAD Capture and Altium Designer.
• Perform schematic symbol verification and maintain design standards.
• Design multilayer PCBs for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics.
• Convert legacy designs from PADS and OrCAD into Altium when required.
• Collaborate with engineers during component selection, schematic development, and PCB layout.
• Develop PCB stackups considering SI, PI, EMC/EMI, thermal, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Create ECAD libraries including symbols, footprints, 3D models, and databases.
• Generate manufacturing docs: Gerber/ODB++, fabrication, assembly, drill, BOM.
• Perform ERC and DRC checks and coordinate design reviews across teams.
• Interface with PC fabrication and assembly vendors to resolve issues.
