Job Title: Senior EC&I

Location: Warrington

Rate: £44-£61 per hour Umbrella

Determination: Inside IR35

Contract Length: 1 year +

Key Responsibilities:

This role is for an experienced engineer with a high level of expertise in a specialist subject area. The engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and solving problems within this area. They should be capable of handling complex and uncertain engineering problems and provide guidance to less experienced team members. The role requires full adherence to Health & Safety standards, authorized documentation, Good Practice Guides, and ISO standards.

1. Promote effective cooperation across Engineering and other teams.
2. Manage customer relationships, including liaising and developing new business, resolving technical and delivery issues, and keeping customers informed of progress.
3. Ensure correct identification and application of procedures, codes, and standards to engineering activities.
4. Contribute to the Project Safety Assessment process.
5. Manage and communicate project risks appropriately.
6. Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and technical reports.
7. Assess implications of changes, concessions, and queries.
8. Maintain engineering configuration and design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Evaluate technical issues and develop proposals for investigations and solutions, including process improvements.
10. Support the Project Manager in planning, controlling, and delivering tasks and projects.
11. Make engineering decisions within your responsibility and delegated authority.
12. Act as Technical Authority or Engineering Lead when authorized.
13. Ensure health and safety standards are upheld and promote safety culture within the team.
14. Stay updated on relevant technical areas and industry best practices.
15. Contribute to learning from experience during and after projects.
16. Support business development opportunities.
17. Adhere to health and safety legislation and company policies, including ethics and environment.
18. Assist in business winning processes through review of tender requirements and estimates.
