Job summary

A clean energy technology firm based in Albuquerque is seeking a highly motivated Senior Electron Beam Welding Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of in-house electron beam welding capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of welding experience, particularly in EBW, and will work collaboratively with design, testing, and engineering teams to advance welding techniques and specifications. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of welding engineering experience, with substantial hands-on experience in EBW required.
• Experience with weld inspection methods, including both destructive testing and non-destructive examination techniques.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects or mentoring junior engineers and technicians is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain EBW procedures and supporting documentation to meet requirements.
• Analyze weld test data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and availability of EBW systems.
