Job description
Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with 12+ years of experience; or PhD with 5+ years
Direct hands-on experience as an Electron Beam Welding (EBW) process engineer
Strong understanding of weld metallurgy including aluminum, ferrous, and nickel-based alloys
Experience developing and qualifying weld procedures and inspection strategies
Exceptional analytical, experimental design, and troubleshooting skills
Experience leading cross-functional teams and willingness to travel up to 25%
Experience with semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, or defense hardware and manufacturing engineering including DFM/DFA
Familiarity with ASME, AMS, AS, SEMI, or MIL standards and complex hardware drawings
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt and experience qualifying or auditing supplier EBW facilities
