Job summary

KLA is seeking an eBeam inspection specialist to develop SEM-based voltage-contrast inspection applications for advanced logic and memory technologies. Based in Milpitas, CA, you will lead complex experiments on customer wafers and transfer innovations to production.

You will provide technical leadership, define requirements from process flows, and drive the roadmap by identifying customer needs and market trends in voltage-contrast imaging.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electron beam inspection or SEM-based applications.
• In-depth expertise in voltage-contrast imaging and device physics for advanced logic/memory nodes.
• Proven ability to translate customer problems into actionable strategies and to lead engagements.
• Strong capability to drive innovation and contribute to long-term technology roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of SEM-based voltage contrast inspection applications for logic and memory technologies.
• Define technical requirements from customer processes and failure analysis.
• Drive product roadmap by identifying emerging customer needs and market trends.
• Design and execute experiments on customer wafers to validate methodologies.
• Transfer new capabilities from R&D to production and customer-facing teams.
• Provide technical leadership in solving yield, defect, and process-control challenges.
• Guide tool enhancements with internal teams and represent KLA at industry events.
• Lead technical review meetings with customers.
• Generate IP through new imaging methodologies.
• Represent KLA at industry forums and conferences.
