First American is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead our external attack surface management capabilities. You will oversee platform operations, asset discovery, exposure analysis, and remediation workflows for internet-facing assets.

You will collaborate with security and technology teams to validate findings, guide risk reduction, and automate processes using APIs and scripts. Experience with Cortex Xpanse or similar is preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–6 years in information security, external attack surface management, or related role; hands-on EASM experience.
• Cloud security fundamentals and ability to work with cross-functional teams; foundational cloud certs are preferred.

Mansioni

• Administer EASM platform configuration, access, integrations, workflows and health.
• Maintain discovery and inventory of internet-facing assets (domains, IPs, hosts, services).
• Validate asset attribution and ownership with business/context data.
• Analyze exposures and prioritize remediation by risk and business impact.
• Lead remediation coordination with cloud, network, and infra teams; track progress and verify closure.
• Tune platform policies and alerting to improve signal quality and reduce non-actionable findings.
• Build integrations between EASM and asset inventory, ticketing, cloud security systems.
• Develop automation using APIs, scripts, dashboards to improve asset review and remediation tracking.
• Produce operational reporting on asset coverage, exposure trends, and platform health.
• Lead onboarding for new domains, cloud environments, brands, and acquisitions.
• Support investigations and incident response for externally exposed assets; preserve evidence.
• Develop runbooks and standards for EASM operations.
