Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – E3 to provide technical leadership across electromagnetic environmental effects for complex aerospace systems. You will translate customer requirements into total system solutions, covering planning, integration, verification, and life-cycle support.

The role requires strong experience in RF/EMC, system requirements, and MIL STD compliance. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are available as part of the package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of engineering experience.
Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Experience with MIL STD 461 and MIL STD 464.
Minimum 1 year of RF, test, or design engineering experience.
Experience translating customer requirements into system-level specs.

Responsibilities

Lead E3 requirements flow-down across design levels and ensure traceability.
Engage across all phases of the program lifecycle and convey E3 concepts clearly.
Prepare and review E3 test procedures, reports, and analyses.
Mentor less-experienced E3 engineers and drive best practices.
Develop E3 design guidelines and modeling approaches for EMI/EMC.
