AXIS Capital is seeking a forward-thinking E&S Property Claims Team Leader for North America in a role that blends strategic leadership with hands-on claims management. You will guide a team of professionals to deliver best-in-class service, oversee investigations, and drive performance while collaborating with underwriters, actuaries and executives.

The position emphasizes people leadership, risk assessment, and data-driven decision making within AXIS's collaborative culture.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a team of claims professionals delivering best-in-class service.
• Direct supervision and management of claims including investigation, analysis, and evaluation of coverage, liability, and damages.
• Collaborate with Head of Specialty Complex Claims on disputes involving litigation/arbitration.
• Promote high-quality Claim Summary Reports and adherence to policies.
• Implement a people strategy to enhance training, bench strength and career paths.
• Foster a professional environment and drive attainment of business results.
• Support underwriting inquiries, reporting trends, and risk assessments.
• Coach and mentor direct reports and coordinate with HR for guidance.
• Recruit, hire, and retain top talent and develop succession plans.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Actuarial, executives) and external ones (brokers, insureds, attorneys, reinsurers).
