Job summary

DarkStar Intelligence seeks an e-Learning Instructional Systems Designer to turn agency classroom materials into blended, online, and virtual training using ADDIE. You will build design plans, storyboards, exams, and instructional aids, and collaborate with multimedia specialists on graphics, animation, and video, selecting media and approaches for each course.

The role emphasizes adult learning strategies, testing in LMS, and measuring instructional effectiveness while coordinating with clients

Qualifications

• Requires six+ years of experience in instructional design without a degree.
• Knowledge of instructional design processes and terminology.
• Experience applying adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan instructional delivery and blended learning strategies.
• Lay the instructional design groundwork for classroom and eLearning courses.
• Review design plans with Government colleagues for quality and feedback.
• Create professional-level presentation materials.
• Meet regularly with stakeholders including clients and end users.
• Run needs, job, task, and gap analyses to determine if instruction is right.
• Track work and schedules to meet development parameters.
• Deliver quality instruction for adult learners in a fast-paced environment.
