Job summary

TorranceLearning is supporting a large-scale federal initiative to develop a curriculum of self-paced elearning. We’re seeking experienced course developers who can translate detailed storyboards into polished, accessible learning experiences using dominKnow Flow and other modern authoring tools.

You will work with instructional designers, QA specialists, and other developers to ensure accessibility, responsive behavior, and high visual quality across devices in a collaborative production

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional elearning development experience building polished, functional courses from detailed storyboards.
• Experience with modern authoring tools such as dominKnow Flow, Storyline, Rise, Captivate, or similar platforms.
• Experience building responsive, mobile-first elearning that works across screen sizes.
• Experience developing accessible elearning and applying Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to self-QA and troubleshoot course builds for functionality, responsiveness, accessibility, and visual quality.
• Experience collaborating in a cross-functional development environment and communicating questions early.

Responsibilities

• Build polished elearning modules from detailed storyboards using established layouts, templates, and standards.
• Ensure layouts, interactions, and components work on various screen sizes and meet accessibility requirements.
• Maintain visual quality by selecting and editing assets in collaboration with visual designers.
• Incorporate feedback through iterative reviews while avoiding regressions.
• Self-QA and troubleshoot course builds for functionality, responsiveness, accessibility, and visual quality before reviews.
• Raise blockers early and collaborate with the team when input from others is needed.
