Job summary

Procter & Gamble’s Greensboro Plant is hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to keep production flowing and reduce downtime. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining high-speed packing and power & controls equipment, and implementing continuous improvements on central control systems.

Applicants should have an electrical AAS or 2-year Electrical Technical Certification and at least 3+ years of relevant experience, plus familiarity with PLCs and HMIs.

Qualifications

• High School/GED Education
• 2-year Electrical Technical Certification
• 3+ years of related work experience
• Be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot high-speed packing, making, and facilities power & controls equipment
• Use electrical test equipment to diagnose electrical problems
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment
• Troubleshooting, monitoring, & programming PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
• Troubleshooting and monitoring variable frequency drives, servo control systems, robotics
• Troubleshooting and repairing machine and process control equipment
• Have ownership of systems/equipment
