Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations in Bridgeport, CT seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems across multiple facilities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years in industrial electrical/instrumentation maintenance, or 2 years as a 3rd class E&I Technician with instrumentation training. Overtime, travel, and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Industrial or Power Industry Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance, or 2 years as a 3rd class E&I Technician with instrumentation training.
• Licenses required as necessary to comply with State, Environmental, and/or Federal regulatory agencies or if Electrician, licensed as necessary by State, Environmental, and/or Federal regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains facility equipment for safe and efficient operation.
• Performs electrical preventive, repair, and calibration maintenance safely with minimal supervision.
• Initiates and completes work-orders and requisitions; documents information regularly.
• Responds to emergencies during off hours for repairs.
• Travels to other facilities for technical support as needed.
• Reads and applies lockout/tagout, safety rules, and operating instructions.
• Works overtime and rotates shifts during outages.
• Uses basic/precision measuring tools to measure lengths, areas, and volumes.
