Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to install, troubleshoot, inspect, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment across the facility. The role emphasizes safety, meticulous work, and proactive maintenance.

The technician will respond to emergencies, complete work orders, and support outages while coordinating with other facilities. Strong attention to safety rules and documentation is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Industrial or Power Industry Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance, or 2 years as a 3rd class E&I Technician with instrumentation training.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains facility equipment for safe operation.
• Performs electrical preventive, repair, and calibration maintenance safely and with minimal supervision.
• Initiates and completes work orders and documents critical information routinely.
• Responds to and reports to work during off hours for emergency repairs.
• Travels to other facilities for technical support as needed.
• Uses basic and precision measuring tools for maintenance tasks.
• Follows safety procedures including lockout/tagout and hazard analyses.
