Matrix Service in Washington state seeks an Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent to plan and supervise electrical and instrumentation installation for heavy industrial projects, including lockout, grounding, duct banks, cable tray, conduit, and testing. Must hold Washington EL01 license.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in similar facilities construction or heavy industrial projects.
• 1+ years supervising craft employees.
• Must hold Washington EL01 General Journey Level electrical license.
• Minimum 2 years electrical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises work activities, safety procedures, manpower, materials, and schedules.
• Coordinates work with different crafts, departments and subcontractors.
• Maintains liaison with safety, engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure policy compliance.
• Conducts field safety audits and safety training as required.
• Monitors safety program compliance and implements corrective actions.
• Communicates with HR to resolve manpower requisitions.
