Job summary

Matrix Service Company in Washington state seeks an Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent to plan and supervise electrical and instrumentation installation for heavy industrial projects, including lockout/tagout, grounding, duct banks, cable trays, conduit, cable pulling, terminations, lighting, gas detection, process instruments and tubing, gas chromatographs and testing.

The ideal candidate will lead foremen, craft employees, and subcontractors to meet schedule and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Washington State EL01 General Journey Level electrical license.
• 6+ years’ experience in similar facility construction including technology, methods, and procedures.
• Minimum of two (2) years electrical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports safety and company core values.
• Plans and supervises work activities, safety procedures, manpower levels and schedules.
• Coordinates work with different crafts, departments and subcontractors.
• Maintains liaison with safety, engineering, estimating and planning to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Conducts field safety audits and accident investigations as required.
