Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician - E&I for a pharma manufacturing site in Philadelphia. You will maintain electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to support critical operations under cGMP and safety standards.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and install systems, while documenting activity and adhering to strict regulatory requirements. The role includes typical day shifts and potential on-call coverage, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in Life Sciences/pharma manufacturing with cGMP exposure.
• Certified Electrician certification required.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage plant electrical systems and motor controls.
• Proficient with BAMS/PLC/DCS diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs and loop diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical distribution systems (low to mid voltage).
• Maintain process instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for BAMS, PCS, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Perform electrical installations, modifications, and NFPA 70/70E compliant tasks.
• Document work orders and calibrations, maintain logs in CMMS.
• Review and edit technical documentation and SOPs as needed.
