Job summary

Saulsbury Industries seeks an Electrical, Instrument, & Controls design lead for capital projects in Houston. You will design instrumentation and electrical systems for project implementation and guide the construction team through the project lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial design, AutoCAD proficiency, and knowledge of NEC, with experience in EPC environments. Strong teamwork and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years industrial design experience in process plant instrumentation and electrical power systems.
• Design Checking experience
• EPC Design experience
• Medium Voltage Design Experience (Above 1000v)
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code
• Knowledge of conduit, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations
• Familiarity with instrumentation design for control panels and installation details
• Reading Piping & Instrument Diagrams, loop drawings, wiring schematics
• Microsoft Office experience required

Responsibilities

• Design process plant instrumentation and electrical power systems.
• Design medium and low voltage power distribution and controls, control system wiring, plant lighting, electrical heat tracing, and instrument installation.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of deliverables in assigned areas.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives.
