Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced I/E Designer in Meraux, LA to develop electrical drawings, wiring schedules, and instrument layouts.

The role includes updating P&IDs, creating control diagrams, and ensuring design quality with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in electrical/instrumentation drafting, is proficient in AutoCAD, and familiar with NEC, SAP, and CAD standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD.
• Experience: 10+ years in electrical and instrumentation drafting and design.
• Familiarity with NEC and ability to perform lighting level calculations.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical designs, drawings, and schematics.
• Update P&IDs with instrument details.
• Coordinate with lead designer to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Review drawings for completeness and quality.
• Direct drafters and ensure proper check/backcheck.
