Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. seeks an experienced electrical/instrumentation drafter to design detailed installations, MCC single lines, and room layouts under general supervision.

You will produce wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and control panel layouts while adhering to NEC codes and project standards. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in industrial drafting, strong CAD skills (2D AutoCAD, MicroStation), and the ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD required.
• 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical/instrumentation drafting and design.
• Familiarity with NEC and ability to perform necessary electrical calculations.
• Must create accurate electrical installation documents from vendor drawings and adhere to drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce installation details, MCC single lines, electric room layouts and control panel layouts.
• Create grounding, lighting, power and instrumentation plans with minimal supervision.
• Communicate design scope changes promptly and provide on-site startup support.
• Adhere to company CAD drafting standards and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
