Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Construction Superintendent in Lake Charles, LA to lead a project team on a large LNG facility. You will supervise superintendents and craft professionals, coordinate subcontract activities, and manage work plans to achieve quality, schedule, and budget targets.

You will ensure adherence to Bechtel ES&H standards, interpret engineering documents, and mentor field teams. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and extensive construction experience on multi-discipline projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (or international equivalent).
• 10–13 years of relevant construction/engineering experience.
• Experience supervising craft professionals and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of ES&H, Six Sigma, and supervisory functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead team and supervise superintendents and craft professionals.
• Direct craft activities and schedules; coordinate subcontract work.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and compliant with specs and budgets.
• Uphold safety, quality, and project procedures; ensure design changes are approved.
