Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an experienced construction manager in Decatur, AL, to oversee safe, on-time delivery of moderately complex projects. The role involves supervising contractors, coordinating with design leaders, and guiding project controls for cost and schedule under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or higher in Construction Science or related field, a strong safety track record, and a license is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership to deliver on commitments.
• Knowledge of project execution procedures within a construction environment.
• Understanding of engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with department standards and project scope.
• Ensure safety of all contractors and promote a zero-accident environment.
• Coordinate activities with staff and discipline lead to maintain progress and quality.
• Review vendor drawings and construction submittals for conformance.
• Lead a small team to deliver on commitments and communicate expectations clearly.
