Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a dedicated IT professional with strong eDiscovery experience to support a large federal agency in a full-time capacity. You will provide IT legal support services using diverse programs and, as an expert programmer, independently develop, modify, and maintain complex applications used in litigation environments.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Substantial hands-on programming experience in the systems environment used.
• At least two years of directly applicable experience.
• At least three years of overall programming experience, including large-scale DBMS.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree strongly preferred in computer science or information management/technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain a complex program independently.
• Translate program requirements into code.
• Test, debug, and refine programs to process data per specifications.
• Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
• Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces and implement standardized reports; create and generate specialized and ad hoc reports as required.
