Senior Microsoft Dynamics System Analyst, Sr

Solera is undertaking a multi-year project to migrate our global AX 2012 instance to D365 F&O. The Sr. Dynamics System Analyst will play a significant role in designing, developing, implementing, testing, and supporting the complete Dynamics ERP environment and will implement strategies and best practices for automated solutions to complex business processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in FinOps initiatives, developments, and key objectives.
- Document and maintain FinOps internal processes, contribute to process improvements, system mapping, and assist with change management.
- Lead system improvements, enhancements, and special projects related to PO, AP, GL, FA, and AR.
- Design new processes, streamline existing FinOps processes, and ensure updated processes are stable and maintained.
- Work with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to automate manual processes, implement best practices, and meet business needs with a cross-functional approach.
- Lead meetings with user groups, super users, process experts, and functional leaders to discuss issues, ideas, and proposed changes.
- Analyze internal department requirements to standardize/improve practices, processes, and procedures using the ERP system.
- Proactively update knowledge: research known issues, test key processes, and educate business SMEs/BPOs on ERP functionality.
- Collaborate to understand current processes and issues, assess impact of proposed changes on financial operations, and assist with new logic and financial setup.
- Support Finance as a subject matter expert for essential activities.
- Prepare month-end reconciliations and reporting (accruals, GL reconciliations, assist with monthly P&L reviews, and variance analysis).
- Manage procedures to complete weekly and monthly close activities and reporting models.
- Monitor daily finance operations and help manage ongoing initiatives.
- Propose and implement policies to maintain alignment with strategy and communicate updates to internal teams and business partners.
- Create and maintain process documentation using MS Task Recorder and RSAT test automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience with D365 F&O and AX2012.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-driven, with ability to lead a team and work collaboratively.
- Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.
- Strong analytical and account reconciliation skills.
- Solution-oriented, with ability to propose new solutions to problems and processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams outside of Finance.
- Experience with MS technologies that complement D365 F&O such as Task Recorder and RSAT; LogicalApps (preferred).
- MS D365 F&O Certifications (preferred).
