Job summary

Talent Group is partnering with a family-owned food manufacturing organization in California’s Central Valley to find an experienced Senior Systems Analyst. The role centers on supporting the NAV/Business Central ERP environment and leading the migration from NAV 2015 to Dynamics 365 Business Central.

This senior IT position emphasizes data migration, system integration, and robust reporting with Jet Reports, Power Query, and Power BI. Strong collaboration with business units is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central implementation and support experience.
• 7+ years of application design, software development, and maintenance experience.
• Experience with NAV/Business Central tools, including tables, pages, XMLports, queries, codeunits, web services, EDI, and job scheduling.
• Project management experience involving software implementations or upgrades.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred, food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience with Jet Reports, Power Query, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV environment.
• Help plan and manage the future migration to Business Central.
• Develop new Business Central functionality and integrations.
• Partner with departments to understand workflows, legacy data, and system requirements.
• Map and migrate data into appropriate Business Central tables and structures.
• Troubleshoot complex application and system issues.
• Create technical and software documentation.
• Test, implement, and train users on new and existing applications.
• Support reporting and analytics tools including Jet Reports, Power Query, and Power BI.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on IT projects and system improvements.
