Job summary

Deloitte GPS in the United States seeks a Project - Lead Software Engineer II to drive design, development, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Government solutions, including customization, plugins, and APIs, with Azure and external systems.

You will collaborate with analysts and architects, mentor peers, and help reduce technical debt while delivering secure, scalable services for government clients. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in future
• Willingness to travel 20–50%
• 7+ years of hands-on Dynamics 365 experience (Customer Service/CRM)
• 2+ years of Dynamics 365 customization/configuration/development (JavaScript, C#, .NET, Dataverse, Power Platform)
• 2+ years in Dynamics 365 Government environments
• 2+ years API integrations, web services, middleware, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, or similar
• Strong knowledge of secure integration patterns, interoperability, and data sync
• Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable technical designs

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, customization, and support of Dynamics 365 Government solutions
• Design and implement customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations within Dynamics 365 Customer Service/CRM
• Integrate Dynamics 365 Government with Azure Government and external platforms via secure APIs
• Lead API development including new APIs and scalable integration solutions in Azure
• Configure Dynamics 365 components to meet evolving business needs (entities, forms, views, rules)
• Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders and architects to translate requirements into designs
• Mentor team members on coding standards and best practices
• Support testing, deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production maintenance
• Create and maintain technical documentation of customizations, integrations, APIs
