Job summary
VetaTek is seeking a Senior Business Central Developer / Technical Lead to guide architecture and delivery of BC extensions and integrations. You will mentor developers, collaborate with functional consultants, and shape technical standards.
This role blends hands-on AL development with leadership, focusing on scalable, maintainable BC solutions and AI-assisted tooling adoption. Remote in Southern California with travel to San Diego as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Dynamics NAV/Business Central development experience.
- Extensively develops Business Central solutions using AL.
- Strong understanding of APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
- Experience leading technical design discussions with stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain concepts clearly.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver BC extensions using AL.
- Lead technical architecture discussions and review requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews to enforce standards.
- Ensure release readiness and align priorities with leadership.
- Diagnose issues, optimize performance, and support deployments.
- Drive process improvements and adopt AI-assisted tooling.
