Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software developer to design, implement and support Duck Creek Policy Administration System solutions for Property & Casualty insurance lines. You will collaborate with BAs and SMEs to validate requirements and drive deployments across test and production environments.

The role emphasizes robust configuration of Duck Creek components, OnDemand platforms, and API integrations, with mentoring and knowledge transfer to the team. Strong SQL/.NET skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional software development experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Experience configuring Duck Creek Policy components including Underwriting/Rules, Pages, Rating, TransACT and Forms.
• 2 years of experience with Duck Creek OnDemand Policy Platform version 8.x.
• 2 years of experience with Duck Creek Anywhere APIs, AMIs, and Composed Requests.
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft .NET, XML, XPath, XSLT, SQL, and C#.
• 1 year of experience providing training on Duck Creek Policy Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support Duck Creek Policy Administration System products and lines.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and SMEs to validate requirements.
• Manage code movement and deployments across test environments.
• Integrate Duck Creek with third-party APIs and data sources.
• Provide guidance, training and mentoring to the Duck Creek team.
• Contribute to testing scope and validation artifacts.
• Collect, analyze and summarize development issues for stakeholders.
