Job summary

Mains'l is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join the leadership team as a Support Coordinator in Chico, CA. You will mentor DSPs, model person-centered thinking, and ensure safe, well-run residential spaces while coordinating with medical professionals and a Program Manager.

This full-time role (40 hours/week) requires documenting progress toward goals, supporting individuals, and leading staff training and meetings.

Qualifications

• Ability to act as role model to DSPs and mentor staff.
• Knowledge of documentation guidelines for consistency.
• Ability to document progress toward goals for supported persons.
• Ability to review DSP documentation and notify Program Manager when entries need attention.

Responsibilities

• Follow IPP and PCD.
• Coordinate activities with people based on hopes and dreams.
• Support people and teammates to work toward goals.
• Share updated information regarding people with teammates.
• Perform medication administration and counts.
• Perform household tasks as needed.
• Assist in ongoing training of employees.
• Lead staff meetings as necessary.
• Data collection for FNRC quarterly reports.
• Complete all financial month-end documentation.
