Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior/Lead DSP Algorithms Engineer to advance satellite communications for defense, intelligence, and space programs. You will participate in concept development, modeling, architecture, hardware implementation, integration, and testing across the full system lifecycle.

The role requires deep DSP and digital communications expertise, MATLAB/Simulink proficiency, HDL experience, and a track record in FPGA/ASIC design.

Qualifications

• Experience developing DSP and digital communications algorithms.
• Strong MATLAB/Simulink experience and HDL proficiency.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop next-generation RF and digital satellite communication systems.
• Model, verify multi-rate and fixed-point signal processing algorithms.
• Create DSP and digital communications algorithms incl. Turbo/Viterbi coding, resampling, waveform generation.
• Perform system modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
• Conduct system architecture evaluations and trade studies.
• Support modem and receiver design activities and hardware implementation.
• Collaborate with FPGA/ASIC teams to implement algorithms in hardware.
• Assist in payload, subsystem, and spacecraft integration and testing.
