Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is hiring a Direct Support Professional V, Home Supervisor in Corpus Christi, TX. The role supervises daily operations and staff on the assigned home, ensuring quality programs, habilitation, and crisis intervention are delivered to residents with supervision needs.

The position requires a Driver’s License, leadership experience with DSP teams, and availability for Day shifts.

Qualifications

• Driver's License is required.
• Experience supervising Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and delivery of quality programs at the assigned home.
• Plans, assigns and supervises DSP activities and shifts.
• Hires, trains, coaches, and evaluates staff; manages time and leave records.
• Ensures care plans, habilitation, behavior management, and crisis interventions are implemented.
• Maintains safe, healthy and compliant living conditions and documents incidents.
• Provides guidance to staff on program procedures, policies and laws.
