KINDLY Direct Care seeks an experienced Direct Support Professional for a higher‑acuity one‑to‑one assignment in Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. The DSP must provide close supervision, support a nonverbal 33‑year‑old with spina bifida, and follow strict health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in DSP, CNA, HHA, behavioral health, direct care, or similar high‑support roles.
• Strong reliability, judgment, communication and ability to follow detailed protocols.
• Comfort with the support needs reviewed during screening.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the assignment.
• Reliable vehicle required and ability to complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Provide close one‑to‑one supervision and safety monitoring.
• Support a 33‑year‑old nonverbal individual with spina bifida in daily activities and social outings.
• Follow individualized behavioral, medical, health, and safety protocols.
• Support communication, routines, community participation and independence.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate with the care team.
