Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to lead digital communications and signal processing within the Mission Payloads Division. You’ll develop DSP algorithms for SDR platforms, analyze performance with MATLAB and Python, and prototype real-time systems for evaluation and demonstrations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Minimum of three years of related experience in modern communication systems, digital signal processing, or AI/ML comms
- Experience developing within a Linux environment
- Proficiency with MATLAB, C/C++, Python
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement signal processing algorithms for SDR platforms
- Analyze signal processing performance using MATLAB, Python, or similar tools
- Prototype real-time communication systems for emulation and PoC
- Research in advanced signal processing, GPS technology, and re-configurable processing
- Document work products in briefings and technical reports to customers and colleagues
