Job summary

Aeva is seeking a DSP Systems Engineer to advance sensing and perception algorithms for autonomous vehicle applications. You will define performance requirements, design, test, verify, and validate signal processing algorithms, and contribute to system-level design from ground up.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DSP, estimation theory, and communications, with hands-on programming in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++ and high-level languages for algorithm implementation.
• Strong knowledge of digital signal processing and communications theory.
• Experience with MATLAB or similar analysis tools for algorithm verification.

Responsibilities

• Design, verify and test signal processing algorithms using Detection & Estimation Theory and related methods.
• Design and simulate end-to-end systems to meet performance specs.
• Analyze data to verify algorithms against real-world data.
