Job summary

Bose Corporation is seeking a Senior DSP Engineer to develop, port, optimize, and validate audio signal processing software for embedded platforms. You will own substantial DSP components, translating reference models into production-ready C/C++.

The role requires turning MATLAB/Simulink models into robust components and collaborating with cross-functional teams, with a focus on audio quality, testability, and maintainability. Onsite in Framingham, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in EE/CE/CS or related field.
• 8+ years of DSP or embedded software experience with hands-on DSP.
• Strong C/C++ skills and MATLAB/Simulink for analysis, modeling, validation.
• Experience with fixed-/floating-point algorithms and hardware trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience with DSP/embedded processors like Cadence HiFi, ARM, or Hexagon.
• Ability to independently drive DSP components from design through deployment.
• Excellent debugging, profiling, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Framingham, MA.

Responsibilities

• Implement, port, and validate DSP algorithms for embedded audio.
• Own DSP components from planning through integration and release.
• Develop modular processing blocks and configurable audio chains.
• Profile and optimize compute, memory, latency, and real-time performance.
• Build unit tests, reference vectors, and automated regression tests.
• Collaborate with firmware teams on interfaces and build environments.
• Contribute to design reviews and provide clear technical documentation.
