Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior DSP & Audio Embedded Software Engineer to bring up, integrate, and validate DSP and Safety Processor subsystems on the iRDK platform in Palo Alto. You will lead real-time audio pipeline development, codec integration, and safety-focused validation across cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded software and hands-on experience with TI DSP platforms, TI SYS/BIOS or FreeRTOS, and DSP toolchains.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of embedded software development experience; 5+ years with TI DSP platforms (C7xx, C66x) or equivalent.
Strong C/C++ development skills in bare-metal and RTOS environments.
Experience with TI Code Composer Studio and DSP toolchains.
Hands-on experience with audio subsystem bring-up (ALSA, Audio HAL, I2S, SoundWire).
Experience with safety-critical embedded systems and lockstep architectures.

Responsibilities

Support bring-up, integration, and validation of DSP and Safety Processor subsystems on the iRDK platform.
Own real-time audio pipeline, including codec integration, Audio HAL enablement, latency characterization, and performance validation.
Integrate and validate safety-critical subsystems, including lockstep processing, safety monitors, and fault detection.
Collaborate with DSP firmware, tools support, and partners to resolve integration challenges.
Document DSP, audio, and safety subsystem status for program reviews and milestones.
