Job summary

SEAKR Engineering seeks a Senior Staff DSP Engineer to lead DSP initiatives for space-focused electronics. You will define architectures, guide algorithms, and ensure robust verification across programs, interfacing with leadership and customers.

You will mentor DSP engineers, drive design reviews, and influence decisions across disciplines, balancing technical excellence with project objectives. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience.
• Extensive DSP architecture, algorithm development, implementation, integration and verification.
• Demonstrated leadership on complex DSP systems across programs.
• Experience developing DSP algorithms in FPGA/ASIC hardware.
• Lead technical trade studies, design reviews and risk resolution.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical oversight to teams.
• Influence cross-disciplinary technical decisions and communicate with leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and advance DSP solutions across programs and initiatives.
• Provide strategic technical direction and resolve highly complex challenges.
• Lead system architecture, requirements, algorithm exploration, and trade studies.
