Jobot is seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator to join our team in a key role shaping project estimates for drywall systems across commercial construction. You will manage the full estimating lifecycle from blueprint reading to bid submission, with focus on accuracy, vendor management, and value engineering.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in drywall estimation, strong cost analysis skills, and proficiency with Excel and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in drywall estimation within commercial construction.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, cost analysis, and bid preparation.
• Extensive knowledge of construction documents, vendor management, and change order pricing.
• Strong understanding of metal framing and drywall systems.
• Experience budgeting, material procurement, and project coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate and competitive estimates.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, construction documents, and project specifications to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Conduct cost analysis and prepare detailed reports to support decision-making processes.
• Manage all aspects of drywall systems, including metal framing, and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals, incorporating material procurement strategies, vendor management, and value engineering principles.
• Monitor and adjust budgeting and scheduling for projects based on changes in project parameters, change order pricing, and other factors.
• Coordinate closely with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and other relevant software for efficient and accurate estimation and project coordination.
• Continually enhance knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and other factors that may impact project costs and timelines.
