Johnson & Johnson in Wilson, NC seeks an Automation Engineer for Drug Product aseptic filling. You will own automation/controls scope, drive FAT/SAT, commissioning, and ongoing lifecycle support across manufacturing interfaces and site systems.

You will coordinate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, CSV, OT Infrastructure, MES, Digital, and suppliers to deliver robust automation solutions in a cGMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, science, or related technical field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive automation and controls engineering experience in pharma or biopharma.
• Hands-on ownership of automated manufacturing systems in a cGMP environment.

Responsabilités

• Serve as area Automation Engineer for Drug Product aseptic filling and own automation/controls scope.
• Lead FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification, start-up, and issue resolution activities.
• Review OEM/system-integrator designs, narratives, and interfaces for alignment with standards.
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC/DCS/HMI changes; ensure maintainability and document control.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated automation solutions.
